The red carpet at this years Grammy’s were filled with lots of gold and ivory dresses. There was also lots of sparkle and sequins which is defiantly the trend for this years red carpets. Everyone seemed to be in very glamorous dresses for an award show that normally has some pretty funky outfits. (Like Lady Gaga arriving in an egg or JLo’s famous green dress).
This year it seemed to sparkle and we have to say everyone was looking beautiful. Congratulations to our favorite Adele for all of her wins. What an amazing performance she gave last night. Since we normally do Music Monday we wanted to share with you an Adele song that would be perfect for a first dance or to walk down the aisle to. Since most of her new album is about a break up, there not really wedding appropriate songs. Now on to the fashion starting with the two best dressed guys of the evening.
Adele looked great in this black sequins dress that fit her body perfectly. Kelly Rowland’s sleek chiffon dress would be a perfect wedding gown for a beach wedding.
How Stunning is this blue dress? This is so gorgeous and would be the perfect wedding dress in white or ivory. Then again we are really liking this light blue. Could a colored wedding dress be the next trend? We’ve seen silver, blush pink and have added colored petticoats, could a full colored dress like this be the next trend?
Although I think the Blue hair is too much and does not go with the dress, we do like how soft and elegant her makeup is and how these beautiful earring sparkle.
The Golden Girls – Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. This was Katy’s second dress of the evening and is gorgeous but not with the blue hair. We LOVE Taylor’s dress which is straight off of the run way and looks gorgeous on her. It even looks better on her then it does the model.
We love Kate Beckinsale’s sexy white mini dress. What a perfect dress for an engagement party or late night dance dress to slip into. Paris Hilton is wearing a gorgeous Greek Goddess dress that makes Paris look amazing. You never see her in anything this glamorous. Way to go Paris! We’re loving this style on you.
And now for our top 3 Wedding Dress Inspired Grammy Dresses….
Kelly Osbourne looks stunning in this sophisticated and glamorous gown by Tony Ward Couture. This year Joan Rivers won’t have anything bad to say on Fashion Police about Kelly, unless she says something about that hair!
Miranda Lambert donned a beaded, nude-colored gown that we think would make a gorgeous wedding gown.
And our favorite dress of the night that we think would be a killer wedding gown is Carrie Underwood.
This dress designed by Gomez-Gracia sparkles in every way. The back is so sexy and has an amazing cut out to show some skin. We love everything about this dress and award Carrie the Best Dressed of the night.
Since the Grammy’s did a lot to remember Whitney Houston we wanted to do a little tribute to her too and since we are a wedding based website we thought we would share some pictures of her wedding day since typically your wedding is one of the happiest days of your life. We will always remember her for her wonderful music.
