An engagement shoot is the perfect way to get to know your photographer and find poses you might like for your future wedding pictures. That doesn’t mean you can’t make them fun and unique to you as a couple. Today our trend for Trend Setting Tuesday is staging your own engagement shoot. There are so many simple and easy props you can bring that will show your personality and will add a personalized touch to your pictures.
These large over sized three ft wide balloons are making an appearance in wedding pictures and engagement shoots everywhere. They come in a variety of different colors and make a great big statement!

Adding letters to your engagement shoot are also a cute touch. You can DIY these letters or symbols by picking up large wood letters at your local craft store like Micheal’s, and painting them in your wedding colors or creating your own works of art.

These adorable burlap banners or flags are also very popular and something you can purchase for your shoot then reuse at the wedding to hang in front of your gift or cake tables.

Umbrellas are just plain romantic! They remind us of the old south and add a little charm to the picture.

Some people consider their pets to be their children so why not make it a family shoot. Including your four legged friends into your pictures will remind you forever who was apart of your life at the time of your engagement. They are also so darn cute!

The vintage old suitcase is still a great prop that has been around for a while. You can pick these up at most antique or thrift stores. You can print custom stickers to put on the suitcase to make it more personalized.

We love these pictures and this little bride-to-be! They are huge baseball fans and incorporated this into their engagement shoot by wearing baseball T’s made with a “Save the Date” message on the back. They also incorporated a baseball that read their wedding date. So creative Mandy!

Picture frames never get old and add a really cute touch to your engagement pictures. We also love the chalkboard messages and the hundreds of things you can do with them during and after the shoot.
