The 2013 Emmy Fashion last night was stunning. We love award shows but mostly because of the fabulous red carpet photos. Celebrities tend to pull the latest trends straight from the runway, they then display them for the world to see on the red carpet. Fashion trends are then pulled from the red carpet to inspire new looks even in the wedding industry. So we love to keep an eye on what we might be seeing in the 2014 wedding gown collections that will be out soon. Here is what we spotted on the Red Carpet.

We saw lots of bright colors on the red carpet and we are loving this violet purple. Could it be a prediction for color of the year for 2014?
Emerald green is currently the hot 2013 color of the year and we saw some fabulous dresses to represent the color.
My favorite color is cobalt blue and this color really popped on the red carpet last night.
And Ms. Sofia Vergara always looks stunning in everything she wears but we love this bright red dress. The mermaid look has been popular for years but imagine this dress in white and how incredible of a wedding gown it could be.
Blush was the next hot color on the red carpet and is the perfect color for a unique wedding dress. More blush toned wedding gowns maybe in store for us this next year. It’s a great color and compliments your skin tone.
The cap sleeve is always a great look for a curvy bride. Christina Hendricks is always stunning and one of my favorites to watch on the carpet. She always wears the right dress to show off her curves and still looks classy. We love this black dress with lace cap sleeves. We love her hair and bright red lips too. 
We also saw a lot of skin on the red carpet this year. Sheer fabric was everywhere. Not sure if it was the classiest of looks but I know next year’s wedding gowns are incorporating a lot of sheer backs and sheer shoulders into their dresses.
Another trend that we loved was the two tone dress. We LOVE Anna Gunn’s dress and she is definitely one of our favorites of the night.
Our “Best Dressed Couple” award is a tie between the hunky Dylan McDermott and Shasi Wells or John Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt. (We love the beard John and the white jacket!) You be the Judge.
Our worst dressed has to go to both Lena Dunham and Zosia Mamet from the TV show Girls. What where they thinking?
And now for our top 5 could be wedding dresses……
#5 – Connie Britton wore this gorgeous gown that would be perfect for an Indian wedding ceremony or if it was in ivory with the gold beading it would be gorgeous for any wedding.
#4 Kerry Washington looked gorgeous in this white and gold dress.
#3 Carrie Underwood wore this gorgeous purple taffeta dress that in white or ivory would make a beautiful wedding gown.
#2 Kaley Cuoco wore this beautiful gown that had a see through corset bodice which is very popular in wedding dresses. This would make a stunning wedding dress.
#1 The number one “could be a wedding gown” winner is Malin Akerman who wore a white dress that actually looked like it was a wedding dress. This dress would be stunning on any bride. Our only recommendation is she should have worn a statement necklace.
