Emily and Matt planned a romantic backyard wedding at her parents Arden Arcade home. Her dad hung market lights all over the backyard to give the feel of fire flies flying over head. Emily is a designer for Pottery Barn and calls her style a “strange hybrid of hippie and preppy.” The mixed matched La Tavola printed linens added texture next to the Classic Party Rentals Barn wood tables. The romantic backyard wedding had natural color pallets included browns, ivory, pale peach and greens with some wooden and metallic touches throughout.
Prior to her wedding the bride was asked “What do you think will be unique about your wedding?”
“Our wedding is being planned to truly reflect us as a couple—we want to invoke the effortless, joyous spirit from our relationship and throw a party that is just that! We will be having a constant flow of food, verses a sit-down dinner and a variety of ways for our guests to relax or actively participate in the affair! With live music playing in the warm evening air and lighting twinkling everywhere, we want to celebrate not only our life together, but life as a whole!” – explained Emily.
